Ch. 23

Dear Diary,
  OMB!!! I can't believe how great my life is going so far. Im getting good grades, getting along with my family, and..im in LOVE!!! Of course he doesn't know it yet, and we actually haven't gone out, and theres that thing were he's a freshmen in college and I'm a senior in high school. ~sigh~ He's still totally amazing. His name..is Beckett Begonia.

We've only hung out a couple times but he's perfect. I need to find a way to get him to notice me without him thinking I'm some kid. Maybe tomorrow ill invite him out to take a swim.

Going for a swim was a success. We even danced a little bit. Then it went downhill....

just as i was about to tell him how i felt, he started asking questions about my sister, rogue. I never felt so hurt in my life. But you know me, i never show it. So i answered everything he wanted to know.

Once i finished with the answers, i decided to end the date. I was starting to feel a bit bummed so i figure quit while i was ahead, or in becketts case behind.

As i got home i decided i wasn't going to give up without a fight, i mean fate chose me to carry on the legacy for a reason, so it must have been fate that i met Beckett. I will find a way to get him interested in me. Just you wait...

Ch. 22

The next day i woke up bright and early so i can get a jumpstart before everyone else, i mean come on i live in a house with 8 other people, how else was i going to be ready for school on time.

Even with the extra 3 hours that i woke up i was still running late. UGHH!! The upside on starting my training, i get my own house. Cant wait to see what mom bought for me.

She said i would have to get a small part time job when i move out. I would be financially set but that money would be for when i would have children. Ok, lets not think about that now, i have homework, finals and prom coming up. I can think about finding mister perfect later.

School went ok, i decided to join an after school activity. I know right. What could i possibly join. Well i decided on sports. When i went to sign up i guess my reputation precedes me, they wouldn't even let me try out. They said i was liable to hurt someone if they called out a bad play on me. As i was walking away the coach had sympathy for me and told me that i could be in charge of thier fundraising. I thought why not? I need to brush up on my people skills anyways for when i meet mister right.

So there i was going house,

after house,

Who knew this town was too busy to buy some candy, it was only a dollar. I finally made it to the last house.

ME:  ~rings doorbell~ Hello? Im Roxie from Berry High. I was wondering if you or your wife would be interested in buying some candy to support our schools soccer team. Its only a dollar and we have 6 different kinds.

No answer

Guess they aren't ho---

VOICE: I don't know about the mister and wife couple but ill take some.

huh? As i looked over to the side i was literally frozen......

Ch. 21

So, I'm the one "fate" has decided that would continue our legacy. I was all onboard when mom told us  because i thought there was no chance in he** that i was going to get chosen. I mean look at me, I'm always in a bad mood, i hate dealing with people. Heck i don't even like puzzle half the time. (He's my IF)

~sigh~ I was getting tired of everyone asking me questions. Are you ok? What are you going to do? Do you have any powers? Im still me. I wish they would all just leave me alone. I decided to get out the house and go somewhere to think. I went to the pool.

I kept wondering if i would be able to pull this off, i mean who would fall in love with me? Im not the easiest person to get along with. Plus i haven't even met anyone that catches my eye. Certainly not anyone at school. ~hmm,time to take a dip~

~this is a really nice pool, i need to come here more often~ Uggh, this is sooo frustrating, i wish i just magically had the answer.

You know what, i need to man up, or woman up, ~laughs~, moms depending on me. So is aunt Serenity. Im going to do this. For our family. Heck i still have til i graduate high school before i can start learning some spells. Until then i can be a normal teenager.

Speaking of which, i better get home before I'm a grounded teenager.

Fate has chosen

Ch. 20

The years had been kind to our family so far, the kids had all grown up and they were all in high school. They all turned out to be wonderful children.

The talk that i needed to have with them had to happen now. So that night i decided to have a family meeting.

I explained to them everything about the legacy, serenity, my parents and thier part in all of this. Surprisingly they took it very well, they were in shock for the most part. They were all wondering who was going to be chosen.

I let them know that Serenity taught me a spell that would allow one of them to get chosen, that if they were ready i would cast it. They had all looked at each other, and said they would do whatever it took to keep the family safe and protect our legacy. So i stood up and started to recite the spell:

"EGO dico super astrum super is hora ut permissum fata rector mihi in sumo vox"

"I call upon the stars

upon this hour

to let the fates guide me

in choosing the power"

I felt the power surge through me and spread out towards the children. Once the last bit came out i felt faint and the world went back. I pray to berry that it worked. It now laid in the hands of one of my children.

Ch. 19

~back at sugar valley~




The next few days passed by in a blur. It was the triplets birthdays and they turned out quite what i didn't expect.

Roxie had her fathers eyes and she got the grumpy trait.

Rogue had my hair color and the neurotic trait. YAY these two are going to be loads of fun ~rolls eyes~

and then theres ryker, he has my hair and ~sigh~ the insane trait. Oh yeah loads of fun are waiting for me.

After finding out about serenity and the people finding out we were alive i was pretty much a nervous wreck, i mean all my kids were almost of age, and soon one of then would be chosen. They had know idea whats in store for them. ~sigh~


For now i just need to keep myself busy. For birthday presents i surprised the girls with their own rooms, decorated in their own colors.

Ryker....well Ryker was happy being ryker.

As time went on i kept thinking to myself that i needed to talk to the children and let them know what is going on and what will happen. Will they be upset? Or will they be happy? I mean lets face it, only one of them will get a hint of power and the rest nothing. I guess this is a talk that i need to have with them soon, real soon.

Ch. 18

-----meanwhile on Lunar Lake-----


female voice: sir we have located the royal child.

male voice: excellent, only one? i had it on great authority that there were two children.

female: just one sir.

male: is she alone?

female: no sir. She has a husband, and six children.

male: WHAT!! Why wasn't i notified sooner? Has she shown any signs?

female: no sir. no signs of any powers whatsoever.

male: and the children what about them?

female: umm..we..

male: let me guess, you incompetent fools only followed the royal child.

female: i..um..its inexcusable sir.

male: your right it is. but you can redeem yourself by following the children. I want to know names, ages who they hang out with. Especially if they start showing signs. And Lacey.

Lacey: yes sir?

male: don't fail me again. If you can't get the information, don't come back at all. But word of advice, if you fail, you will be hunted along with them.

Lacey: .......understood sir.

-----outside-----

female 1: Who is he looking for?

female 2: I don't know, but whoever they are they must be really important if he's sending her back.

female 1: We need to get into his office to find out.

female 2: Are you nuts, i don't want to get in trouble, think of what would happen to us if we get caught, i mean he practically told her he would kill her.

female 1: geez wheres your sense of adventure, if we can figure out who they are looking for, maybe we can find them first. He would admire us.

female 2: fine but if we get caught, i swear I'm blaming this all on you.

female 1: fine, lets go, they just left...........
